Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that works
Private CBT therapy with expert psychologists in Fulham. Tackle anxiety, depression, stress and negative thought patterns — with same week appointments and no waiting lists.

Changing thoughts to change how you feel
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is one of the most evidence-based forms of psychotherapy available. It focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours — and how changing unhelpful thinking patterns can lead to lasting improvements in your mental health.
At Dr.Dropin Fulham, our specialist psychologists use CBT techniques including structured questioning, guided exercises, and thought challenges to help you build new, healthier patterns of thinking.
Unlike open-ended talking therapy, CBT has a structured format with clear goals — which means you'll notice progress and understand what you're working towards at every stage.

What happens in a CBT session?
Sessions are 50 minutes and are led by a qualified clinical psychologist. In the first session, you'll discuss what you're experiencing and what you'd like to work on. Together you'll agree on goals for your therapy.
In subsequent sessions, your psychologist will use structured CBT techniques — such as identifying thought patterns, behavioural experiments, and practical coping strategies — tailored to your specific situation.
One direction within CBT we offer is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which combines mindfulness with behavioural change techniques for those who benefit from a slightly different approach.
Dr. Adela Mrkaljevic
"Mental health problems are often the result of how we interpret a situation, which in turn affects how we feel, and this affects how we act. In therapy, together we can create awareness of these processes so that you learn to sort your thoughts in a better way, and perhaps challenge your basic thoughts about yourself and the world around you."
